The Crimson Pirates: Pirates in Paradise 2001
The Crimson Pirates went down to lovely Key West for the Pirates in Paradise Festival where we performed @ the Turtle Krall, the Conch Republic and the Thieves' Market along with our good friends, The Pyrates Royale.   We also renewed friendships with The Corsairs, whom we had the pleasure of performing with during Pirate Invasion Weekend @ the Maryland Renaissance Festival last September.
We had an absolute blast @ this year's PIP, which marked the 1st sale of our new CD to none other than a genuine Buddhist Monk!...   Buddha is smiling down upon us!...   Click on the thumbs for a larger picture.
Voted 'Most Photogenic Pirate Crew' by 4 out 5 Buddhist Monks...
Lift up your glasses!...
Hard at work... doing what we do best.
If they don't buy any CDs... at least we're singing in the shade!
Alright, we found the anchor... where's the ship?
Buddhist Monks in Paradise... Can you spot the pirates?
Damn!... Decisions, decisions... Should I have a Key Lime Margarita or a Key West Sunset Ale?...
The Crimson Pirates capture 2 patrons, Mr. & Mrs. Oatway...
"Honest... I'm tellin' ya the truth - I know where the treasure's hid!"
"I'm tellin' ya, a parrot wouldn't lie to ya - give me some birdseed an' I'll tell ya where the treasure's buried!"
"Pumping like madmen all the way..."
We will sing for food... and drinks.
Hey... are these guys the 'Purple Pirates"?...
